There are numerous ways of getting around Chicago. The most popular form of transport for people living in Chicago is the CTA (Chicago Transport Authority). These lines of trains connect the entire city from north to south and from east to west. All the downtown area is connected by the Loop. The Loop is used so that all CTA lines can be accessed downtown allowing people to get from one stop to another.  

From O'Hare to Downtown Chicago:

After leaving the terminal, head southeast onto the Access Rd towards the city. Then continue onto I-190 E. Then take the exit onto I-90 E. Take exit 51C toward E Washington Blvd/100 N. Turn left at W Washington Blvd. This will bring you onto a CTA, Brown/Purple, Blue, Pink, Green or Red Line. All trains connect with the downtown loop.

From Midway Intl. Airport to Downtown Chicago:

Once leaving the terminal, head south on S Laramie Ave toward W 63rd St. Then take the 1st left onto W 63rd St. After this, Take the 1st left onto S Cicero Ave. You then need to merge onto the I-55 N/Stevenson Expy via the ramp to Chicago. Then take exit 292A to merge onto I-90 W/I-94 W towards W Ryan Expy/Wisconsin. Take exit 51C for Washington Blvd E. Finally, turn right at W Washington Blvd and you have reached downtown.

It should also be known that both airports in Chicago have a CTA line for departing and arriving at the airport. Both lines work all day every day at regular time intervals. So in case you are not driving, this is the best possible mode of transport. 

From Lincoln Park to Downtown Chicago:

Lincoln Park is an area of Chicago that resides right beside downtown. All streets including Armitage, North Bissle, North Sheffield, Halstead, Cleveland all connect with each other to meet the downtown area.

Firstly, head west on W Webster Ave toward N Halsted St.  Then take the 1st left onto N Halsted St. Then turn left at W Washington Blvd. You have now reached downtown Chicago.
